Creating Your Building & Deployment

Before installing Onboard's Edge Software in your building, you need to set up your site in the Onboard App. This involves creating a Building and its associated Deployment using the Building Launcher.

🏢 Create Your Building & Deployment

1. Navigate to the Building Launcher in the Onboard App.
2. Enter your building details and click Create Building.
   • This automatically creates an associated Deployment for your building in the system.
3. Once created, yuou will be directed to the Deployments page where your will be able to manage your deployment.

You are now ready to create a Collector and begin the installation process. Refer to the Installing Onboard's Edge Software guide to continue

Note on multi-building deployments

Physically Separate Networks

If your site has multiple physically distinct buildings on separate networks, create a separate Building in Onboard for each one. Each Building will have its own Deployment.

If a single network covers systems shared by multiple buildings,  create one Building in Onboard.
