Data Modeling with AI

The Staging Interface is equipped with Onboard’s AI powered Mapping Engine, which assists in labeling data automatically. The AI is trained on more than a 1000 buildings. Here’s how it works:‍

• ‍Reduce Clutter: Onboard’s AI automatically filters out irrelevant (“trash”) points from equipment to save you time and reduce clutter. These hidden points can still be viewed at any time by toggling the Hide Points with No Equip button on the Overview and Points tabs.

• Automatic Predictions: The mapping engine generates predictions for point types and equipment types and automatically applies the label with the highest confidence score as the suggested label

• ‍Confidence Indicator: The top prediction is shown alongside a confidence score in the confidence column. The confidence score is a percentage value indicating the level of certainty that the label predicted by Onboard’s AI is accurate. If you manually save an equipment type or point type label, it is marked with an icon 👤

• ‍Top Predictions List: When selecting an equipment or point type from the dropdown menu, you can view the top five predictions from the mapping engine

• ‍Relationship Predictions: Onboard’s AI suggests relationships for AHU servings VAVs downstream. This is based on the telemetry data. Make sure your equipment are published and streaming data for best results.
